Exide Industries and Amara Raja Energy & Mobility are particularly interesting because they provide exposure to the battery side of the EV ecosystem rather than only vehicle sales.
Exide has been investing in a 12 GWh lithium-ion cell manufacturing facility, while Amara Raja has announced a long-term investment of around ₹9,500 crore toward lithium-ion battery manufacturing.

For trading: EV stocks can react strongly to monthly auto sales, new EV launches, government policy, battery announcements and market-share data. So I would separate good EV businesses from good stocks at the current valuation.
